I just want to share with you some pictures from the rainy, foggy, cloudy, cold, sunny, beautiful, green, quiet, peaceful, friendly Faroe Islands, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, where I spent a week in July. These 18 islands are rated the No 1 destination in the world among 111 island communities by National Geographic Traveler! I have two school friends there from 37 years ago and met both of them, which made the visit even more unforgettable. It is a great place for hiking, but one has to bring full rain gear, waterproof shoes and warm clothes. We had maximum 11 Centigrades!
